    Thumbs up Dying plastic?

    Hey fellas,

I've got a set of Proline dish wheels headed my way and I want to dye them orange. Can I get some recomendations on how to do this and what kind of dye to use?

    Thanks....

Just pick up some Rit Dye, you can get at Walmart in the laundry detergent aisle I think. I dyed my wheels black on my buggy and I think they came out great.

Instructions are on the package and it's really very simple.

    Hope that helps.

RPMs faq page and Misbehavins got a good how to also.

Remove your wheels when they are lighter than youd like them because they will darken within minutes of removing them from the dye. you could allways drop them back in if they are too light. My wheels usually take three dips in the dye bath.

They do look good. thouse are the 3racing wheels right? Are they stronger than the stockers? Where they white to begin with? I wonder how black dye will take to yellow nylon
