Very Nice Thomas! Two questions......What has been doen to your stock slipper? I can't see the spring and the retaining nut is different...
Also, has your motor mount been machined? You are getting the pinion to mesh 100% with the spur which is unusual. Most BL motors have a 10mm shaft which only allows for 50% engagement. So either your motor has a 12mm long shaft or your motor mount has been machined (thinned) by 2mm. Which is it.......Thanks!
This is the stock setup Thomas...
HI Morati, i dont know hounestly about the slipper nut, and spri. The prewieus owner that have been hard testing/racing and won every race, have come up to that this is the best.
The mount is only machined a1 mm, just for perfect fit Mesh .
Ahh thats how it looks, i was woundering, maybe il mail him and ask why no spring..but this setup is woorking sooo good so there is no need at all for a spring.
it is a 12mm shaft
OK Thomas, you were lucky to get such a good setup!
If you do NOT have a spring in the slipper, what is there in its place?
Morati, i dont know havnt dismount the slipper yet . But i will do it propably son, indoor season starts and the car mut be in topshape.
Morati My slipper uses a O-ring and not a spring like yours.
todays parts..
Thanks for the report Thomas.
You will like those MIP CVD's, they really clean up the drivetrain.
I removed my plastic ST diffs in favor of the steel Kyosho MI 09 diffs. So far they are working well after going through four 3-cell lipo packs. (No sign of wear).
Sounds real good Mr Morati. Today i hope i can drive the car little more than the as time
Morati: May i ask, what lipo, and where have you bought it? i want only 2s Lipo. The one i have checked are app -4 mm to long, and do perorm REAL good..to bad any idea?
