    Default Dynamite C4 Brushless

I have a dynamite C4 Bl motor set up Im looking to use in my H8 when it gets here tomorrow, on the Dynamtie site both the esc (Mini Tazor) and the motor (8000KV) specify they are compatible with 1/16th scale cars.

My question is, has anybody tried this motor in a h8 yet? it functions perfectly in both my mini T and my mini zilla. No overheating issues, it bearly gets warm running a 820Mah 2cell 7.4v lipo. Id be running the motor with the stock spur and a 13/14t alloy pinion.

    Cheers,

It won't work very well in your Half8. It will thermal very quickly because compared to your Mini T, the Half8 has a lot more weight. The bigger the kv rating on a brushless motor, the less torque it has, so the C4 Dynamite is probably a very bad idea. If you want a motor as small as a C4, then get a Mamba 5400 or 4200. My recomendations for a brushless motor combo would be the Quark 33a ESC with either a Wraith 7k, Aon 4900, GH3600 or GH4700.
