    Default 6->8 or 2xlith ?

    Wow, went from 6 cell batteries to 6 cell NiMh. The difference was huge. Is the step from 6 cell to 8 cell as big again? Or am I going to get better performance by going to lighter lithium’s. Car is totally standard.

    The only thing I really want to do is put the lower ratio 12 tooth gear on the motor to give it better performance on the grass and off road.

    8 cells are better than 6 and of course you will get even more power with lipo.

    Going from 6-cell NiMH to 8-cel NiMH is like a toy'r'us rc car running on steroids! It's a huge improvment, trust me
    Can't talk about the LiPo though...

    I brought a 8cell saddle pack at the same time I brought mine. But it turned up a couple of days afterwards. So I ran it with the 6cell nimh. And I was abti disapointed with the performance. But the slipper was way to lose. And never got a chance to re-test it after I tightened it up with 6cell as I fired the ESC/reciver somehow. Wasnt the 8cell that caused it, as Kyoso sell 8cell packs apparently
