    Default Good motor?

Hi, can someone suggest a fast, reliable motor? I don't want to go brushless and I heard that Speed 400 motor is good. I aslo heard that 480 motors kick butt, what would I need to do to the motor mount in order to run a 480 size motor?
How long would the Speed 400 motor last?

go to www.hobby-lobby.com and search the 400 motors.....
i never tried to mount a 480 so i dont know how it would work with a stock motormount. The amount of time the motor will last is directly related to voltage applied and how much stress the motor is put under. The motors are $9 ....pretty reasonable and depending how and where you drive they may last a long time.........Im sure you will get your moneys worth.

480 motors do not fit in the stock location. You will need to 180 the center tranny and mount the motor the other direction. Checkout the motors section from this site, most motors that will work have been tested, destroyed, and discovered already on this site.
