    Hi,

    and a clone of 3PM

Performance is pretty okie. Significantly cheaper and possibly a good
    base platform for upgrades.

I personally added 3racing shocks, drive shaft. Multiplex speed 400
motor, and a custom 8 cells 4/5AA pack.

The receiver accepts standard servo, which I upgraded to a Hitec 225BB
    taken from my 1/12.

    Thumbs up

    ongbenghui-

I bought one of these as well as a test bed for trying different things and still have my MI (or the clone) to play with.

I have to say you are exactly right, this is a real good alternative if you are stripping out half the parts anyways.

For $85 bucks shipped it aint bad. Plus, with all the plastic parts I stripped out of my MI, im not worried about breaking pieces.

I got an 8cell NiMH 1100 pack in it with a rocket 400 motor. Dropped the suspension down, put on 1/10 touring car wheels with some good rubber and now I am tearing up the pavement in front of my house with it

I see you kept the battery holder. That was the first thing I ripped out. I ordered a MI replacement part for it so I dont have to remove the whole thing to swap packs. I shrink wrapped the ESC in plastic to keep it somewhat clean.

The body is complete garbage, real thin and it already cracked in several places (unless you got a better one), but I am going to cut my old MI body to fit it since I put a new bod on my MI. (the back of the chassis goes straight back to the suspension, not cut inwards like the MI).

ong have you ever used a hs85mg servo? I'm trying to find out how the 225 is compared to the 85 or 81. I know the 225 is a little bigger and heavier, but I don't think that matters much if it performs faster and stronger then the other two.

nope, I have not tried the HS85MG. My 225BB come from my 1/12 which
I have upgraded to a digital servos. I have a Multiplex Tiny which I
am planning to try. But, I don't have the right servos mount at the
    moment.

I just realized that the chinese inferno clone is a clone of an inferno made in china . Right there on the bottom of the stock chassis it says "Made in China".

Well, they are all made in China. Both regular Kyosho Inferno and the Inferno clone.

really cheap from china at toyeast.com . its called a Nano Dragon.
I think someone sells it on ebay too, but toyeast probably sells it for less and has good service.
