...I have recieved a quote from Proline...

...Quote, "We will be looking into offering a body for the new Kyosho Truck, however nothing is set in stone."

...So there you have it...You now know as much as BitHed does RE: a Proline ST body :D

i dont think that it will be possiable to offer a better looking body for the st b/c of the way it is designed. with a normal truggy (which the st is but without the big wing) they take the side protectors off of the buggy, making the chassis narrower so the body will fit and look right. but in the case of the kyosho st they sideplates cant be removed nor can the chassis be any narrower because of the way the battries motor and servo are mounted. so thats y there is that big buldge at the bottom of the body and it will stay there cause of that reason.

...bigRob I disagree...I dont feel they NEED the bulge...It looks bloody awful..it wont stop me getting one and i will MAKE myself like it but it looks silly...I am sure it would be apain in the bum to paint...WHY do they need it? It has to look EXACTLY like the 1:8 version? Makes no sense...

does any one know of a sedan body that will fit if you take off the wing

BIT- the reason they need it is like i said in the other post. when a buggy it convereted into a truggy the side guards are taken off. with the half 8 they can not be tken off b/c the battries sit in this area. there fore making the chassis wider creating the spot where the truck body has to bulge over. if you look at the pics of the st. if they were to make the body with no bulge the body would interfer with the wheels and suspension when it travled.

hm... i think the half8 st looks just ugly as it is.. no matter what body is on it..
