Just picked up a mamba for my new mini inferno and I have a few questions.

1. Will i need a new servo or can i make the stock one work?

2. If i need a new servo what is a good one to get?

3. I saw on here that you need a different pinion to work with the mamba. What is the best size to run?

4. What are the best batterys for this setup?

5. Will this make it alot faster?

You need a new servo. Hitec HS-85MG is the best servo hands down. Not sure about the pinions for the mamba. I just know about the AON 4900. For batts you should get a 8 cell GP1100 pack or if you want LiPo's. Should make it alot faster but I advise getting some heatsinks for the mamba because it will heat up alot.

Definitely get some heatsinks. Also pick up a 10 or 11 tooth pinion, as 12 still gets the motor pretty hot, bot not too bad. 8 cell GP1100 pack is your best bet, and the Hi-tec servo BlackHawk mentioned is excellent. I'd also suggest an alloy motor mount, because it helps dissipate heat from the motor as well.

I believe you can find them at rcmart.com, or try eBay. I just used two LRP blue heatsinks from a friends 7.1 ESC that he wasn't using. Here's a picture of mine....
