I think the stocks are 12 because arent TC rims 24?

...the hexes are 12mm and the WIDTH of the wheel is 24mm :D And doods that thing is WEIRD lookin!! lol...Whats up with the shape? That will fit a 12mm hex hubbed rim? Really?

I was skeptical just like the hex on the RTR TC4

...and the TC4 hex works no problem? I actually mailed 3RACING yesterday about something similar to these hubs...Either these have been in the pipes for a while or they worked DAMN fast at getting them out..lol..

yeah the TC4 hubs are the same look. this is almoast a quote but i couldnt find it so i made it my own: "the hexes fit the rims better to give a more precise hold and fit on all rims, this gives the TC4 a slight power transfer advantage." dont hold me to it but that is the just of it. now is there a price? a release date? any mods needed to keep steering throw? thanks and 3Racing you rock!! (accept for diffs, you need to be faster!! :p )

three words for you:

LESS ROTATING MASS

They are the same thing as a normal hex just with a little mass shaved off. The description says

"Suitable for 1/10 rubber and foam tyre use"

So they should work with most if not all rims made for 1/10 vechicles with a hex drive.

Good find TiNTin!!! I will be looking for these once they hit the bay.

...good call Crym...I didnt think of the mass equation...These units have SUDDENLY become very attractive to me :D

If you really think about it......when you use an Allen wrench which part is actually making contact with the screw? Just the pointed edges, right? Not the flat sides. So all they did was shave off the extra material that doesn't make much difference anyway.;)

Kinda like a good scuptor. They get a rock and remove all the stone that isn't the bust of the person.

The thing looks a bit weak to me, but I think I will get a set when I see it.

BTW, still haven't see it in the stores here in HK, homeland of 3Racing & ATM :p
