...i realise there is need for this type of thread so i am working on some ideas to make it easier for y'all :D K_B I am using TAMIYA oils...300 weight in the front and 200 weight in the rear...Remember oil counts / #s change from manufacturer to manufacturer...

Bithed is about right then. Most times #200 would be = to 20wt and #300 would be = to 30wt. I'm still using the stock 3R oil and pistons. I know I need to change them though

Kyosho is a bit expensive for a guy like me (wife and two kids). Plus the LHS doesn't carry much of anything so I have to order everything online. I haven't found a Kyosho distributor since the Tower split.

Who is your local hobby shop? I will do my best to get them parts, or get them set up to be able to order parts for you :) Just need to know who they are and what part of the world they are at :)

Man this Quick Reply thing is P'ing me off. It would send my post and now I have to retype it all.

Anyway......

Gearhead.....Bit is right....Okinawa Japan. My LHS could order the stuff from Kyosho Japan for me but it would be way over-priced. I really only use them for nitro and paint. Everything else comes from Tower or the bay. Maybe I will start shopping with PanicToys for a few things when needed.

...No problems Crymynal...And i will come knocking on your door next time I am down there for work...The next time i get to take a group down should be about 2 years away...lol..

Our website should be updated before the Ihobby expo. I have been pushing to put the setup sheet on that update, as well as getting a setup section on the website as well. You want something editable, like type in your information and print it? kind of like this http://www.jrxs.net/setup-sheet/jrxs-setup-sheet-V3-F.pdf ??? It can be done :)

It's very complete, but I'm still missing something.

Best laptime ... I want to know the best laptime I did with this particular setup on this track. Very interesting to compare afterwards.

Remarks ... a field where you can put your own findings down on some issues. After all, on a setup sheet, you also have to find back how the car was behaving. Too much understeer, good in loose sand or ...

I think a setup sheet is great to see what you had before, but you have to find back as well WHY you changed something. That's the basic rule in race engineering, and I've never seen a setup sheet with this info (except my own). Perhaps, like bit says, it's good to have a editable version. Drop me a private mail if you want more idea's Bit!

For the rest ... TOP JOB! Great setup sheet!

...mate i feel your pain but i have SO much to do right now NOTHING is looking very good...Gulfy if you would like to type out what you have in miond and post it on site or to me or whatever...That would be MOST helpful...We may as well have an expert like yourself, and you KNOW you are ;) doing it...

...Gulfy you go right ahead and set the NEW style for the THE set-up sheet...its in your hands...BTW mail received and responding...
