...Good work fellas...Its a team effort ya know...great job :D

...Alfred do you have a link and a price for the one you mentioned ?

...I have been looking at the GWS, Grand Wing Servo, stuff and came up with some good ones but here is the link for the list...

GWS SURFACE ESC (http://www.gws.com.tw/english/product/speed%20controller/speed%20controller.htm)

...in particular i have been looking at the 400 and 600 series models with brakes on them...

I'd stick with esc specifically designed for the micro world...teh spy still seems to be the best bet and the mamba is nice and new tekin brushless seems promising...

I prefer 1/10 escs for micros cuz then you never have to worry about mod motors. :)

Here is a link to the Mtroniks (http://www.mtroniks.net/mtroniks_SC_products.asp?CategoryID=1&SubCategoryID=2) website.
And I could only find a link to the Mtroniks RV15 (http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/159141.asp) . Not a bad price for it. :)

I just got a great deal on a LRP Quantum Reverse. $50 barely used with the heatsink. Can't beat that!

On another note, look into the Futaba MC230CR. It should fit the bill pretty nicely. With a cupon code, you can get it from tower for $34 shipped.

Yes I have a Futaba MC230CR and it is a nice esc. Lots of features, and great price. The only problem is that it can only handle 7 cells max. Its a perfect esc for most mini applications though.

I wouldnt reccomend a spy for this application; to anyone who is thinking about getting one for this Buggy. Its takes alot to spin a 4wd buggy and the spy barely holds onto a 300 motor as it is. Some 50 or sixty dollar 540 rated speedo will do. The quantum reverse...or quantum sport is good. Nothing crazy...just needs to be small and decently priced.

just want you too know that the Spy is only rated for 7 cells and 300 bb motor.....but since the stock motor of the Half 8 is a 380 you might be able to get a speed 400 in there. And plus you also have to look at the cell count of the stock esc.... :D You could also check the amperage of the motor...the New Spys have been updated to handle 25amps instead of 10amps.....so this application might just work...

Saw the esc's nice find....i would get any of the 600 series since there able to pull 45amps....The stock motor may not be able to pull the 45amps but just think if you used a mod motor in there.....the esc will have no problem supplying the motor with the amperage it needs. And you dont want to get a esc where the amperage is too low either...this can cause the esc to get warm and thermally shut down....only if it has that feature. :D

...Today i picked up the 400...The 600 was there too but I thought to play the 400 and then see if i needed to go bigger...I tend to break stuff quite a lot and i dont have the area for a BIG speed run so I will wait and see...But its not bad for 35 bucks ;)

I think that the LRP ipc PRO Sport will work just fine! :D Maybe cause i got one just lying there since the time when i used to race 1:10 TC... :P

Anyway, i`m gonna use it i my H8! And here is some info about the LRP ipc PRO Sport (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LC4823&P=1)

Yea, know! And one thing is for soure, it`s no problemo with the motorlimit! :P But i don`t know for how long it will be used, cause i`m very interested in a brushless system! It`s just to wait and se! :)

Anyway, think that i`ll get my H8 tomorrow, cause the dealer here in my town does always get things from Kyosho at thursdays, and it`s not imposible to buy something a little bit to early from him... ;)
