Guys,
I am looking for a spare antenna tube and I can't find any. Do you know where can I find one?

Um... I'm pretty sure you can ask your lhs if they have Attenna tubes.... I have a yellow one on my half8 and its the same size I use on my drake.

...LHS should have them falling out the wazoo...2 bucks for MORE than you might even need...ask them if they will sell them sepeartely if they do have them...any good LHS SHOULD sell them seperately...

any antenna tube for 1/10 or 1/8 models will fit on the H8 and any LHS must have them for sure

No lhs where I live. Need replacewment antenna tubes. Any online recommended? Any knowledge of ones that are a little more flexible so they don't snap off? We spend 100% of the time jumping and we roll the truggies quite a bit.

What i do is to wind (coil the wire) on the od of the tube and dont let the wire touch. Then I shrink tube the antenna. This way they are about 4 inches tall I get no glitching......
or
you can put in a pc of fuel tubing (down low just above chassis) to give your antenna tube a flex joint.

Interesting internal antenna mod here:

BTW - today I had to configure an antenna tube from the 1-1.5" shards of broken tubes I had. I duct taped 3 together to make a 3.5" length and then used that today. It worked great. First - it bent at the joints to conform to the body and stayed there after rolls. Second - I still got 100' of range which is way more than I need for the locations we currently play at. I will update this post this weekend with a photo.

The cab and the sides are different and the windows ;) and the illuzion dosent have the deep cut out for the esc heat sink like the proline

BTW - what is the stock length of the antenna tube?

O well - length doesn't matter now. The new tubes I bought are 14". Rather than cut them since I didn't know to what length, I used as is. The ones I bought are much more flexible than the stock tubes and despite multiple hard upside down crashes - no breakage today. So I have 15 spares as a result. LOL.
