The wait is continued .... this hex was supposed to come out a week ago in HKG. It did .... I went to the shop on Wed.. the guy put a pack of it, about 100 pieces, on the table and he said, they're not fitted.
Yeah it's Topcad ... mistake again, but at least they found out before start selling them.
So.... we'll have to wait a bit longer ....

I think those are regular 3mm Hex adaptor.

TopCad made two version, one is the original H8 size but made of alloy. The other is for 1:10 wheels but not yet arrived.

I am waiting too...

Do you have any idea when they will be ready?

Yes .. Topcad made 2 versions. I already bought the 3mm Hex set about a month ago. And since I saw the second version that is for 1:10 wheels about 2 weeks ago on Topcad web site, I have been to the shop, on Dundas st. Mong kok that mainly sell Toocad products, almost every other day for this hex for 1:10 wheels version. Just like I said before, they already came out but not fit. So they'll have to do it again.

And the waiting continues .....

...that axle hole looks WAY too big...might be the close up shot playing with my eyes...seems strange that there is no 'tubing' that would fit INTO the 1:10 rim to take out the slack / give /wobble of a 3mm axle in a 4mm hole

Buying? Released?

I was at the TopCAD shop in HK this afternoon, the owner said they should be available next week... (Which he told me the same thing in last 2 weeks!)

It is listed there, but is it really available? Sometimes online post product in advance. You ordered, paid and wait for God knows how long to mail out by them.

hkopium ...... I was at that shop yesterday (Sat) evening and I got 2 sets of the Hex, blue and silver. They come with 4 disc but no pin as the original pins can be fitted on. One thing is easily noticed the different is they're thicker than the original hex over 1 mm.

I put them side by side from the left .... Topcad hex standard size ..... Topcad hex to fit 1/10 wheel .... and the one I made out from the Hot Racing hex. The pin is the original one comes with the car and the disc comes with this new Topcad hex for 1/10 wheel.

Nice. What 1/10 scale tires/wheels are you going to run?

Dawn... I must have missed the delivery by 2 hours or so.

I will go there tomorrow.

BTW, the 1/10 Hex is thicker... is there enough thread for the hex screw?

Like the Itsy Bitsy one was too thick and not enought thread for the hex screw to hold on to. So the wheel may fall out after a few runs...

that's what I was about to ask... we need more axle length!

Hopefully these are the answer

After some visual measurement... it seems that this Topcad 1/10 Hex adaptor is almost as think as the Itsy Bitsy one. Maybe I should inform TopCad about the issue.
