View Full Version : Batteries I got gonna cut it ?

I got a set of batteries and a charger off ebay the other day. Just some energizers ..But I waswondering is the life on them gonna be longer or shorter then batteries I cant charge ? O yeh I made sure they are safe for the car. :D

...Don't use regular AA NiMh cells, use high discharge 2/3A NiMh GP cells. It will make your Mini Inferno go faster. :)

...take the easy route and get some packs from UNITED RC...THE battery for the H8...

I feel stupid asking this but if I run it stock can i run a battery pack on it? and whats a good one to get if thats the case and do they come with a charger ?

Well it was to late I already got the AA nih batts ... they are ok but i want a pack for sure ...

Yes you can use battery packs with the stock motor/setup. But you can only use 2/3A cells in a saddle configuration (Some exceptions when using Lithiums). Buy it from United RC, they are the best :)
Battery packs do not come with a charger, a decent charger is usually around $50

Use NiMh AAs in your transmitter, if you use them with an upgraded motor like the Xspeed, your Mini Inferno will go like 2 mph, and with a brushless motor, it probably won't move at all.

Cool Good to know for sure . My buddy and I share this name so Im sure it will help us bolth when we upgrade these things.
