What is the largest heatsink to go on the AON 4900 motor? I just ordered mine and I want to get the best (largest) heatsink possible. If I'm not mistaken, the heatsink is for size 540 motors ... Am I right?

Cheers guys for the help,

Tom

...Gulfy mate a 540 sink is WAY too big for the AON..I use TWO heatsinks side-by-side...the mini quake sinks...

Cheers mate ... what about cleaning your car? You told me the funny bunny picture on your website looked kind of weird, but a dirty mini Inferno is not straight either ... :D

From the other hand ... this is how they need to be. RACED!

Would the heatsink from AON fit the AON motor and still be able to fit in the car with out any modification?

Alright, thanks. What heatsink size do you need so it fits the AON 4900?

I don't have my AON yet, but I use 3Racing heatsinks on my brushless motors:

Its made for 280-size motors, but you can bend it a little and it will fit the mamba (20mm diameter) or the bigger 300-style brushless like AON or Mini-AC (24mm diameter).

They are only about 3,50$ and come in many different colors :D You can also use two of those to cover the whole motor...

I use a wrap around heat sink on my Mamba and it fits in the car without modification. The heat sink is found here: http://www.b-p-p.com/products.php?cat=14 Not sure if the AON motors are 20mm but these heat sinks work good.

...I thought that one wouldnt fit the 4900 ??? Isnt the 4900 a 24 mm can? i hear rumours of a possible sink ffrom AON for the 4900, but if it looks like THAT one then it wont fit on most of the motor mounts we are using...
