The video didn't work for me. When I clicked on the watch vid link, it came to a new screen with a bunch of numbers and letters mixed.

There are 2 half8's, one yellow and one white.
Both are on 12T pinions.
The yellow half8 is powered by GPs1100 8 cells.
The other is powered by ETECS-1250 2s2p.

Will try to get another video this coming sat at a local 1/8th track.

How do they fit? I looked at them but decided they were just a bit too big?

this is how i mount the etec-1250 2s2p

the stock battery location is still available to mount 8 cells 2/3As when the lipos are charging

Ah cool, that is how I was mounting my lipos but I wanted lipos but in the standard position to keep the CoG lower.

Guess I'll stick to the 8 cell 1100/1200 cells I'm using currently for the time being.

Eco- Are those the Kyosho oil filled shocks?

Yes they are and they work great!
By the way I'm using springs from the original plastic shocks as they are shorter and give a lower ride height.

How hot does your Mamba get? I ran mine for about 5 minutes and it was blistering hot. I ran it in my 18T for 25 minutes and the motor was WAY cooler. Just curious as to how you are keeping your motor temps down?

I can't remember the temp but they are not too hot
If you look closely here (http://www.halfeight.com/forums/showpost.php?p=8408&postcount=9) you will see a fan above the motor

eco, are you running stock wheels? If so have you broken any? I’ve found the stock rims to be somewhat brittle & tend to crack rather easily. Just curious. ;)

Hi Hammer, yes I'm running stock wheels but they haven't break on me yet :)
But all of them are very wobbly :D
