What aftermarket servo's fit in the H8? Also, what do you guys think are the best for it?

I used the Hitec hs-85mg and it work good.

Same here. I am using a Hitec HS 85 MG with the metal gears and it was a direct fit provided you used one of the other servo mounts that came with the H8. Price is really good, reliability is excellent so far, it's made by Hitec -I have always trusted Hitec products- and its performance are excellent.

I've never had good luck with the Hitech servos, many others have had better luck than I have though.

The "hitech guy" (Mike Mayberry) did point out a high end digital servo from Multiplex that looks very interesting:

Anyone that has experienced the sweet precision of a digital servo knows they are usually worth the extra coin.

If the CS-35mg in my buggy ever poops out, that Multiplex is going to be the replacement.

...Hitec is pretty good...they arent SUPER items but they get the job done, have good service and are efficient...Some might say they are the poor man's Multiplex...Plus you gotta love their availaibilty and drop-in sizes...
