well....got my inferno running today witht eh aon 4900 and the mamba 25 esc...AND I LOVE IT! its so fast! lol...and heres the problem...after the car goes a certain distance....which isnt very far...i stand on the grass on my front yard and try to run all the way to my neighbors front yard's grass, and it glitches when its not even there yet....i pulled my antenna on my transmitter all the way out...it might because i trimmed some of the antenna wire because it was so long? do you guys think that would affect it? if so..i guess i could solder the wire back on..lolz

thanks :D

ps: here are some pics of how my electronics are mounted-

...Trimming your antenna wire is a bad choice...it makes the receiver more prone to radio interference and noise I think...I think your range is limited because the antenna and receiver is too close to high current areas, ESC capacitator, battery wiring...

thats why, trimming you antenna will cause interference. You might try moving your esc off the RX, possibly on the top of the servo mount. Its hard to work with micro's sometimes but the further you can keep your esc from other electronics, the better it will work for you.

my friend had the same glitching with the esc mounted like that using AM, trying mounting the esc on top of the servo brace tray

especially 27mhz. It has a longer range than 75mhz but is very prone to interference.
