Well, I finally had some time this weekend to install some of the hop-ups I’ve been buying for the last few weeks. :D

Unfortunately, while doing some hard surface speed runs last night to set some benchmarks for comparison with my stock setup, I hit a curb and broke a steering knuckle. :( Just blew my plans for the weekend, regarding my Mini Inferno, that is. Time for another parts order.

My broken Mini Inferno and a few of the new parts I was planning to install.

I almost destroyed my knuckle, but i stripped it while testing my new Mamba Comp system...
You have a lot of parts ready to install there, Hammer...I take it you bought it all from hE.com shop :)
halfEIGHT, Are you going to stock more 3R and Atomic parts soon?...like 3R motor mount and aluminum knuckles?...and the new CAW stuff? ;)

...Took me like over an hour just to build one front oil shock...It was my first time building them, but after that, all the others were easy as reading -> antidisestablishmentarianism :D

(woohoo 100th post :))

Nice CAW towers. No, unfortunately I didn’t, however, I am looking forward to building them, which is at least half the fun for me. I’ll then have them ready when I need them, I hope that will be soon! I’m also getting ready to install the CAW towers, which are very nice, excellent craftsmanship! :D

halfEIGHT, thanks for the sentiment, keep an eye out for my order to be placed this afternoon. I always support the shop here first, D is the best! :)

One positive, the servo saver worked perfectly! Good thing I had it nice and loose. ;)

Well, it's been quite a while since I've had any time to devote to the halfEIGHT. :( I've collected a number of parts over the past few months that I think will improve durability as well as performance. I'm hoping to finally get some time tomorrow to install some of them. :) Maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll even have time to test things out. :D

Good call on getting the aluminum c-hubs... I upgraded to aluminum knuckles and keep breaking the c-hubs now.

I ordered aluminum c-hubs, lets see what breaks next.

lol i think it would be best to just order the whole thing in aluminum and drop a 400 sized brushless to ofset the weight. or maby a 540 for that weeeeee effect.

I finally took time today to install most of the parts I’ve collected recently. I must say the 3Racing parts are very cool to work with. ;)

Here are a few pics. The first two are close-ups of the chassis. The last two are of the rolling chassis. :D

I have a couple more Crowd Pleazer bodies to work on next. For now it’s time to go out, get this thing DIRTY, and see what I can break next! :D
