Great job! Nice color scheme.

What did you use to wrap those shocks? Blue color heat-shrink rubber?

...i did onre set that was too small and were stretched to the max and limited compression and they were no good and a second set that were too big and i couldnt fit them nicely...That set picyured works REALLy well...The 'boot' mod is one of my favourite 'dress-up' mods...

...thanks to all us DADs :D We had Dads Day at kindy and we made Aladdin's Lamp out of 'kaminendo' (paper plasticine)...all the kids stuck on marbles and beads and stuff and ours had lots of little bearings, screws and H8 worn down cups and gears...lol...WE were praised for our originality..lol...we had lunch out AND dinner out...It was a 'fat' day...

...meanwhile back to the balloons...I have always found 'animal' balloons to work best, if you can get them the right diameter...

Thanks for the compliments guys!

This was my first attempt at an airbrush paint job. Before this I was strictly a rattle can man...The body actually looks really different in person compared to the photos! I don't have a digital camera and my old 35mm doesn't take very clear "up close" photos. Oh well...

My Half8 is sporting it's original body that has been stripped down to the clear lexan with the help of some O'Donnell 20% Nitro Fuel and re-painted!

The only other mods to my Half8 are the Kyosho Oil Filled shocks with covers by BadHorsie Racing. The shock covers are a little too thick for the smaller size of the Half8, but still work pretty well. If they were a little bit thinner they would be perfect! They can be found at www.badhorsie.com.

Also in use are the Trinity wheel adapters with some ProLine Touring Car White Dish wheels dyed BLACK and HPI Rally Tires.

I have been running my Half8 with the stock motor/electronics and a six cell GP 1100 battery pack and the slipper LOCKED down. I have a Mamba ready to go in, but have not made the time to get it all worked out yet!

Thanks - Justin

What size of shock covers were the ones fitted on your MinInferno?

They are the ones for the "Small Buggy".

Those are awesome, great find :-). When you say they are to thick are you refering to the diameter of the socks or the thickness of the material? Great paint job as well.......

Thickness...

jdob

Yeah - the thickness of the material.

It is hard to get the end of the spring to fit over the little collar that it seats down onto (above & below)...Hope everyone knows what I am talking about!
