At first, my original Kyosho Mini-Inferno was restricted to the warehouse.

However, he wanted more, so he loaded up the brushless motor and 3-cell lipos in search of the local tracks where he has been running since.

Finishline, Silverbowl & Boulder City also have on-road tracks. Then there is also another off-road track in nearby Sandy Valley.

Bring some toys, sun block, and A/C. ;) Keep me informed and perhaps, we could run an R/C or two if you don't spend all your time in the casinos.

If you were here next weekend, you would be able to see a National 1/4 scale race in Boulder City--recall, the one avatar I used to use. I may also run the little guy at the Boulder City off-road track this weekend since I plan to take my 1/4 scale out for a cruise at the 1/4 scale on-road track which is next to the off-road track shown in the photos above. Those Boulder City off-road photos were also taken at the Silver State Nitro Challenge which is a pretty large race.

The on-road track in the background of the Silverbowl photos is where the 1st National Motorcyle Championship, some HPI Challenges, and Paris Memorial Race has been held. It's a nice track, but there are only two basic layouts and some of the locals are there a lot--I'd get bored with the same layout. If anyone is wondering, the last I knew, the 2nd National Motorcycle Championship is scheduled for Sun Valley, California this year on their 1/5th scale track.

Are you coming down or what? Offroad this weekend at Finishline. My 1/4 scale did well at Nationals too.

Here is a link to a video of my 1/4 scale TQ'ing--too bad it got knocked out in the final race.

If you stop by Finishline, look for my Mugen Seiki mbX5 and the Ford Expedition with the Mini-Z-Racer sticker. Still no halfEight sticker. By the way, I mounted a new body on the mbX5 tonight.

There is also some local R/C crawling action July 16.

:o Oops, I was there for the 4th of July weekend. I did get a chance to check out the RCP track at Exotic Cars and also went to Red Rock, that must be an awesome place to run those crawlers!

I was in Utah that weekend running Kyosho Mini-Zs with a few MZR members anyway. One of the SLC members has videos on his website and links to it at MZR. It was fun overall, but it sure does seem like I have to concentrate more running the Zs than the larger scale cars now that I have been running the larger cars again.

For those who may not have seen the following posted on MZR--Note: There is an INDOOR offroad track running Mini's. Mostly, RC18T&Bs right now.

Las Vegas, Nevada - Cutting Edge Indoor R/C

This new Indoor R/C facility is around 15,000 square feet and had it's grand opening yesterday (Saturday, April 22, 2006). There were a lot of people running off-road electrics, including minis.

However, today something else happened. What you may wonder--well, I hauled all my 50cm RCP Track onroad layouts up to Cutting Edge Indoor R/C and set it up. For those who don't know how much RCP Track I have, check out the track section at Gallery TNB. Photos of the new layout are also in the same photo album.

http://www2.mini-zracer.com/gallery/album179

Link to one photo of the current layout.

Eventually, this RCP Track may be expanded enough to run 1/12th scale--that's right, 1/12th scale.

Although I pulled out my RCP Track today, it's not really bothering me any since I received a new 1/5th scale buggy last week. Here is a photo from this weekend's run.
