Hi. I just got my H8 today. I installed 3 racing CVD's, 3 racing shocks, and a xspeed. A couple minutes ago I got some AA's and put them in the radio and in the battery holders when I turned it on, the car did not move. The motor looked like it was trying to move, but it could not turn the other gears. If I started at a lower speed the car started moving and went about 2MPH. What is up!?!?!? . I don't think it is the AA's because I put them in the radio and the meter said that they were fine. I will try some other ones later. I also tightened the slipper ealier. What could be wrong with it?

Tough to say. I would take the motor out of the car, still hooked up, and see if it turns. It is possible that AA's can't provide the amps that the x-speed needs but I would guess its not that.

I think it is the batteries. I am getting a couple 8 cell GP1100's soon. I will try taking the motor out also. Thanks.

It isnt a very good idea to use AA batteries on any upgrade motors ... when you get the GP's you will be vary happy with them ....might I suggest United RC ??? He knows his stuff ...

Yep I already ordered them. Do new batts also help with the horrible turning radius of the stock servo?

We had problems with our half 8 turning and adjusted the servo saver.
It helped a lot.

The batts wont do a thing for th turning radius .... check how the saver is set up .....

Thanks for the help. I will have to check out the servo saver. I will let you guys know how the motor works out with the new batts when I get them also.
