Hello,

Are the wheel hub adaptors from 3Racing a replacement to the stock ones, or can they be used to adapt 1/10 wheels to the H8 (like the ones from Trinity: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKBG7&P=7)?

Thanks!

.5x8 bro.....read his post again.......

The link he posted IS referring to the Trinity Hex..........he wanted to know if the 3Racing hexes works like the trinity part.

By the way, where did u get the info that the 3Racing hex are for 1/10 scale wheels?

I think the 3racing hexes are just regular-sized.. if you look at them they aren't much bigger than the pin slot... so I think they are the regular ones...

Crunch is right ... I was refering to the Trinity ones only as a reference :)

And I didn't see the point to make stock ones in aluminum since the original ones are quite sturdy - haven't smashed them yet :) -. So that's why I thought it might be used to adapt 1/10 wheels. But it was only an idea and I read nothing about it.

But it looks like you are right: the 3Racing adaptors do look like they are the stock adaptors, only in alloy. Wish they would make the 1/10 ones since it's a pain to get the Trinity ones - especially in Europe :( -

...the 3Racing ones are same as stock...no point whatsoever in using them...nice idea but needless...

...Mini Devil I am in the same boat...TRINITY parts are imported by KYOSHO here..cant get the adaptors...do the BitHex mod...saves you time, money and MORE importantly WEIGHT ;)

Yeah...tell me about it mate, I am in HK and those Trinity Hex are not available anywhere since no one drives the Trinity Itsy Bitsy.

I'm waiting for Frank from CAW to launch these...shouldn't be too long. :p

I would like to try the Bithex mod, but knowing the way I work on things, I'll probably end up with a missing finger. :D

...i once needed SIX stiches in my right index finger after a modding-accident ona Bit Char-G :o

...the itsy bitsy is no where here...Again its a KYOSHO import and they are putting no strength into their campaign...Why bother? the IMPORTER of the itsy bitsy is the MAKER of the Half eight!! LOL...Eat or be eaten..lol..
