Hey guys. I just bought my Mini Inferno at RCX 2 days ago and I was wondering if you guys could supply me with the name of a rechargeable battery maker for a pack for my half 8. I also need a link to the battery protection thing if possible. Thanks a bunch. God Bless.

PS I already started to build a track in my backyard! :D :D

...454 Welcome to the big show...Fasten your seat belt and return your tray to the upright position baby cos its a bumpy ride :D

...asking questions for the Battery Protector would be faster...there is a blurb on KYOSHO America...I have one in stock but you probably dont really need it...

...United RC, Team Helotes, etc etc...What sort of battery set-up are you wanting ?

FYI we now stock United RC packs:

http://halfeight.com/shop/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=8

Let us know what other configs you'd like to see (e.g. 10-Cell 5x2 Saddle :D)! Support the Shop and give Jon more time to build packs instead of packing orders - it's a win/win!

i think you guys should also stock the sport 6-cell packs for those beginners! at 15 dollars you cant complain with the quality! i dont have them but i ahve the 8 cell x42s and they KICK ASS! so stock those sport 6 cell ones! those would be great for bashing/begginner driving

I got a question... why did you picked a 7.4 Lipo pack and not a 11.1V? Wouldnt the 11.1V would be better to prevent the cogging everyone is crying about?
I'm thinking about getting one myself and i wonder what the diff my be cause the price is for sure different lmao

The cogging doesn't have anything to do with the Vs.
The important thing is that it can deliver alot of power the Apogees can deliver 12C I think. That is 12'1660mah=19920mah.

I bought the 8 cell sports, i heard theyre great, il upgrade to 42's later, IM BROKE!
spent on P2K2 pro $29, 60 watt soldering iron$8, 4 sets of deans $12, a 1500 pack for EZ start $12, 3racing oil shocks $20, 2 URC 8 cell sport packs $25= priceless for all your RC needs get your parents credit card.

Sorry to be picky but some looking here might notice the difference. Wouldn't it be 19.920 A?

errr call me stupid but how to install 8 pack battery cell on my half 8 i still found out that something become not right

holy_inferno

...What's not right, remove the 6-cell battery compartment, install those battery stopper thingies, and shove the battery packs in with immense force...some people remove the battery doors for weight reduction.
...could you please describe with more detail?

hmmm... i found out that it became a bit bulky and makes my half 8 body didn't fit in anymore (not like stock one which is smooth fit :p )

thx a lot
maybe it just my bad as a noob :o

...the batteries WILL fit but i think you might find that your wiring is getting in the way of the body...they might be too short and are being pulled up to prevent the body sliding down or they might be too LONG and bunching up somehwre...remember that there is no EXACT / perfect way for anything in this hobby...if you find that you like something set up differently or you feel more comfortable with a certain component in a DIFFERENT place than go with it...Thats the true RC sprirt :)
