I have been waiting for a while to get all the carbon stuff in before I put it all back together. I now have it and will put it together tonight.

I will be starting off with the Mamba then switch over to the AON 4900. I will let you know how the two compare to each other on the back yard track.

I will be off on a business trip for about 4 days staring tomorrow. But when I get back I will start on the testing the motor so stay tuned.

I will try to get some picks up tonight but I am real sleepy so if I don’t get them up don’t be mad.

Here are some pics. Testing will start on Thursday. I will run the Mamaba first for about an hour then throw in the AON so I can test them back to back.

I will do some video taping also so I need someone that can host for me.

All I have to do is connect the dean’s plug and it's all done.

What servo do you have in there? Looks like a full size one, how you get it in there?

that looks like an 85 or 225 to me. its still smaller than the rx so it can't be full size

Just a thought that poped back into my head after seeing Abusers beautiful pics. Why did they put black dog bones on the rear and silver in front  Thats the way mine came too.

Well ran the half8 on the backyard track today with the mamba 6800 in it. Ran none stop on the battery back till it died then tempt the motor. I was at 136 F. The controller was at 126 F. Run time was around 14minutes but I am just guessing. I will take better time tomorrow.

That’s running on the United RC 6 cell with the heat sink as you can see in the earlier pictures. No venting in the body work at all and the pinion is a 14. But heat doesn’t seem to be an issue.

I am having problem though with cogging big time. Is anyone else getting any cogging with 6 cell mamba set up? I think I might need to move up to the 8 cell. The cogging is making it real hard to drive on the track.

I think that all H8's come with silver in the front and black in the rear. This is just a theory (since I'm too lazy to find out right now), but I think that the front and rear dogbones are of different sizes therefore are different colours so people don't mix them up.

I'm running the 6800 with 8 cell Helotes pack and have seen no cogging at all. I'm using an 11t pinion at the present time.
