6 to 7 of these GP2000s will fit, 6 fits nicely, the 7th has to sit up on the left front area. I bought a bunch a few months ago, still waiting on a BL motor before I build the packs. Im also going to use the GP 1100s.

Someone looking for me???? :p

I had a look at these Batts and can someone explain the advantages to me? I'm a noob when it comes to Volts, Watts and whatnot.....LOL...

The GP1100 and GP2000 both put out 1.2V, so a 6 pack will still produce 7.2V. Now, given the added weight and size of the cells, you will only be limited to a 6 pack unless you mod the batt lock down somehow.

The GP2000 weights in at 35.5g while the GP1100 is only 21.5g.

Is it worth it? The GP2000 should be more expensive then the GP1100 in theory, the question is: Can a 6 pack GP2000 beat a 7 or 8 pack GP1100?

Let's talk about this. :)

Brother Crunch, correct me if I am wrong, I am electricity noob also.

But I have been told that the figure has nothing to do with power. It only means 2000 can last longer than 1100. So power generated from "100" packed 2000 is not larger than 8 packed 1100. It simply means you can play with your H8 a little longer in time.

...spot on the money opium :D 2000 will last longer than 1100 but will NOT be more powerful...well it might be a LITTLE bit more straight off the charger...For more power we need more VOLTS...So thsat meansw we need to search for a battery with 12 volts :D I thought I saw one of those in my 1:1 :D

Ah....okok...

So if I were to put 8 of these GP2000 (I know...not possible) in a saddle pack for the H8....I would be getting the same amount of power Vs. a GP1100 8 pack, the only difference being the run time?

While we're on the subject of Batts, I am dead broke right now so I am going to convert a few of my Mini-T (Hot Racing 1300) packs to a saddle pack for the H8.

Same 6 cell config, so I am not worried about mixing batts.

Thats correct...Make it so...And i am in the same boat...I had my 8cell cook itself on the weekend so i am down to redoing some 18T six cells...Might have to pick up an intellect 1200 8pack...

:D I'm sticking with the 6 pack for now. A guy at the track runs on a 6 pack + Speed 300 motor + 9T pinion....and it HUALS A$$!!!

Seriously.....I look for pickup speed and not top speed...so that should do it for me (for now) :D
