hi. i'm a new mini inferno owner. i have a stock car and have been enjoying it. i've been reading this forum and it has been helpful (although talk on here has been a bit quiet lately.) our local track isn't that big and going brushless may be unnecessary.

i'm thinking of upgrading using nimh pack and kyosho x motor or going the brushless way.

i have a few questions if you don't mind answering:

1) if i go brushless, is it an easy fit?

2)will i have to mod anything else other than an esc?

3)what is the most reliable/easiest brushless setup?

4) about how long will a brushless motor run using 1400nimh pack?

5) anyone know the size of the bearings for the wheels?

6) do you think that upgrading with ball bearings, x motor, and 1400nimh 9.6 cell setup is a good start for upgrades?

thanks!!!

Hello mate, in short - if you are going brushless then you would have to do a lot to make the car reliable.

If you think you will have the car for a while and you want to invest some cash into it then I would recommend getting the KMRC chassis, full ball bearings, Atomic II ball diffs and then a better motor and better batteries.

Have a look at this thread on UK Micro RC, we have a reasonably active Inferno group there made up of people from all over the planet :D

go brushless you will be a lot much happier but you will have to buy bigger batteries if you go brushless and you will have to buy a new reciever and radio and if you want to keep the same servo make sure you buy a receiver that has the four plug in on the first channel or you could go with the three prong and just buy a new reiciver but ye u will impress your friend
