I have a dynamite C4 Bl motor set up Im looking to use in my H8 when it gets here tomorrow, on the Dynamtie site both the esc (Mini Tazor (http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=DYN4930)) and the motor (8000KV (http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=DYN4930)) specify they are compatible with 1/16th scale cars.

My question is, has anybody tried this motor in a h8 yet? it functions perfectly in both my mini T and my mini zilla. No overheating issues, it bearly gets warm running a 820Mah 2cell 7.4v lipo. Id be running the motor with the stock spur and a 13/14t alloy pinion.

Cheers,

It won't work very well in your Half8. It will thermal very quickly because compared to your Mini T, the Half8 has a lot more weight. The bigger the kv rating on a brushless motor, the less torque it has, so the C4 Dynamite is probably a very bad idea. If you want a motor as small as a C4, then get a Mamba 5400 or 4200. My recomendations for a brushless motor combo would be the Quark 33a ESC with either a Wraith 7k, Aon 4900, GH3600 or GH4700.
