I bought a mamba brushless system: 6800k.
Later on I would like to power it with lipos,
2s to start with. Is there any thing I need to
take into consideration when shopping for a
pack? I don’t know anything about lipos other
than that they need a proper charger and a
balancer.

I saw this ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Mini-Inferno-11-1v-lithium-polymer-lipo-LI-PO-twin-pack_W0QQitemZ270106466531QQcategoryZ44028QQssPage NameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ). Im not planning on buying it but
was wondering if you need to the do the
mentioned modd when using any lipo pack?

I’ve been looking into this website (http://home.comcast.net/~truerc/ready_pack/ready_packs.htm) for a larger
scale project I have in the works. Is there
anything there that fits a mini inferno?

I use a 3s pack similar to the one here (http://www.halfeight.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2505). I ordered my original one and also just ordered a new one here (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290101459023).

I run a flipped motor so those packs fit easily on the opposite side and I don't have to find (and overpay for) special saddle packs to fit. Your Mamba25 ESC has built in profiles for Lipo and adjustable cutoff voltage. If it doesn't the firmware can be updated so it does.

I use a Venom balancer charger. It was pretty cheap, comes with a 12v wall wart and works well.
