Well here's a "new" model that looks amazingly familiar.

I've been looking for a way to get rid of the center diff and go to an associated rc18 style center shaft for a while and it looks like they’ve taken the MI and done just that. Hopefully with a few parts we can do a "Photon" conversion. Either way it seems like a good deal since the electronics alone are worth $250 if you dont have all that already.

i have been thinking of getting a MI and this may be the ticket.. want to do comparisons between the detta and the inferno

the photon looks pretty cool. Great bang for the buck if the center shaft design is reliable.

I have the photon buggy. My only complaint is that the brushless motor shaft is completly round. So what happens the pinion gets loose. I used my dremel to make the a flat part on the shaft. Its highly adjustable and fast!!
Oh and the mamba esc does not come programmed for the 3s lipo out of box. Its pain in ass to program it unless you have castle link.

Does it look like the rear diff and slipper would work on a Mini Inferno?

From what I see, all you would need is the center shaft, chassis, top brace, motor mount, and other little tiny peices to convert it.
