Don't really understand what you mean by "no holes", just solder the 12G wires onto the tabs of the Deans and you're all set.

the stupid solder wont stick..i have to use a strand of copper wire and tie it..then solder...and what i meant by "no holes" was that most electronics ive soldered..like little switches and stuff...have holes so like the solder can flow through or something..lol

Ah ha! There's your problem.....you're not using solder grease. Use alittle of that on the tabs and the wires and the solder will stick like super glue.

It has the same effect as scuffing the surface before painting.

I have no idea what it is actually called. It usually comes in a tiny tin can.

Sorry I'm confusing you. :p

Tin your wires before you solder. Flux is nice but not really needed; sounds like your iron is heating it up enough. It takes practice..after awhile soldering deans gets easy.

I had no problem soldering it... first place some solder on the wires and on the connector, than heat it when joining the two parts.
Maybe you need more heat from your solder?

I personaly had trouble using a 25 w iron. Couldn't get everything hot enough at the same time. Swithched to 40 w and worked much better.
