Hey just got one of these they are so much fun. Planning on converting to truggy. Just a few questions.

Is there any way or improving top end? other than changing the clutch bell.

Also what weight shock oil should i use in the shocks?

What hopups do you guys recommend getting?

i just got one about a week ago and made my conversion. im running 27 1/2 in the rear shocks and 32 1/2 in the rear. i seems to be pretty good with bench testing, but we will see once i get it on the track.
also for the top end a bigger clutch bell and lean on the motor. but dont go to much where you dont have a good smoke trail.

Do you know how to make the brakes better cause it tends to take a while to slow down.

there are 2 screws on the pads, tighten thoes up some more to where there is only a mm of play then they will be better

Hey do the center diffs from the eletrics fit the 09? if they do, do they make much difference in terms of performance. What parts should i get?

If you are going to use the ST towers then you will need the ST body. I'm still using the Buggy towers anf Buggy body on mine.

Hey does anyone know if theres a tank thats bigger that could fit in the space of the fuel tank? As the st body seems to leave some room going up from the standard tank and it seems like a good opportunity to get a bigger tank

no one makes a bigger tank, however it may be an ption when kyosho releases the 09st version. However, i dont think this will be the case.

Anybody got any input on the front brake kit? I've got mine and installed but have yet to even run the little. Since there's no differential in the center, the front disk seems kind of useless though, unless there's really a brake problem using just the rear? I suppose it would lengthen disk wear time though, since there's more surface area to grab/two disks to spread the wear across..

i havent run my 09 in a while and only have the rear standard brake disk and i have to say that the brakes are terrible so im guessing the front brakes will make a difference ive yet to get mine stupid kyosho france taking ages for my parts to arrive

Got mine from TheToyz in like 3 days, but I'm over yonder in the USA. After adjusting the linkage I seemed to get plenty of braking power out of just the rear disk, though like I said, that wasn't with the thing actually running. I think I set my dual-brake linkage setup a little different than the Kyosho instructions showed, not sure, they were a bit vague. (or I was just too sleep deprived to understand what I was looking at :p ) If I remember I'll post a pic, or if you want a pic and I haven't posted yet, shoot me a reminder message.

A few bucks cheaper than the price I've seen them going for on Ebay.. (given, I'm talking US funds and I think when I keep seeing them they're like $57 before any form of shipping)
