My center dog bones are completely worn out and I have new ones on order but does anyone else have this problem? Are there stronger aftermarket ones being made?

Are you lubricating them and if so with what? This is what I use on all my drive shafts and cups. Much better then grease as it does not attract dirt like grease. I have dives shafts and cups on my 12 pound Savage that still look great with well over 7 gallons run through it.

If you are using any grease on your dogbones or center drives and running it in the dirt, the pins on the dogbones will wearout very fast. Dirt+Grease in the outdrive/dogbone= High speed sander. Especially when two metals are of a different hardness.

I fixed both of my cars by using the hardened pins from some wornout aluminum universal drives from my electric MI and installed them in the stock 09 center drives just the pin from the dogbone.

Digging up another oldie, but I'm a n00b here and can't sleep, haha. So.. I wonder if Sullivan Dry Ice (http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/article_display.cfm?article_id=784) is just a more expensive/hobby version of the DuPont stuff mentioned? Both sound awesome, especially sitting here looking at the white grease in my brand new cups!

Also, anybody here used the titanium cups I've been seeing, and have any input on their wear factor?
