I tightened up my slipper nut because I noticed that the slipper clutch was still slipping too much and the last coil is now pushed out from under the other coils in the spring.
Has any one else had this problem? Has anyone tried using a differnt spring (mini-t?) in place of the stock spring? What part do I ned to order to replace the spring? I am using a Mamba 6800 with and 8 cell GP battery.

Thanks

if you are not using the slipper, you can replace the spring with something else that doesn't compress to lock it all up. Thats what I did on mine.

Also, if you roughen up the surface of the washer that sits between the gears in the slipper, you won't have to tighten the spring so much to gain the same effect.
