View Full Version : 540 motor in Mini-Inferno?

Hey!
I just wondered, is if possible to fit a 540 sized motor in a mini-inferno?? Have anybody tried it?? :confused:
It would be quite cool if it worked... :D

yes, it is possible but u have to change the chassis, i already bought the chassis and i'm waiting for it to come in the mail, if u want i can keep you updated on the changes i make to fit the 540 motor.

brushless would be better...540 motors are very heavy. It would go fast but my guess is only about as fast as brushless...with a stock motor anyway.

If you must use a high-powered brushed motor then a Graupner 480BB might be a better choice. It weighs 100grams compared to a 540 motor at 160grams or a GH4700 Brushless motor at 80 grams. It can be had here.

I now that a brushless system would be faster but it is quite expensive...
