those motors have tons of torque so you will be happy as long as your run a 3cell...they don't have much rpm

no you will be fine...the mamba is used and it is only a 25amp esc.

Back in march I researched this motor. At the time I didn't see any heat issues with the motor, esc or battery. It was recommended to me as a very reliable motor especially used with a quark 33a pro car.

If you haven't already seen it, there's a video of it in a mini quake on bpp.

Please DO NOT use the mamba 25amp esc with this motor! Regardless of what people tell you. Learn from my mistakes. You will let, what I call the magic elec. smoke from the unit. See my photos of the melted mamba. The Warp 4-2 and mamba esc where bought from Troy at BPP (great guy!) after setting up the esc (using the USB link) the mamba melted after only its first full throttle run. After talking to Troy, everything in regards to my setup was correct. Batteries, connectors, gearing, etc... Troy replaces the melted mamba under warranty with the new Quark 33amp unit (told you he was a great guy). While waiting for the Quark I had a second used mamba 25 unit sitting around and thought maybe if I lower the settings, change the version via the link everything would be okay. Wrong! The Warp just pulls too much power for the mamba to handle. After 4-5mins on the second battery pack, the second mamba melted. I realize some of the guys are runnig the warp/mamba combo and are having no problems. Not me, maybe its the Canadian climate, EH?? Who knows?? Once the quark arrived I quickly charged the li-pos and set the new esc up. :) Wow!! Boy of boy, my mini inferno can put down the some serious power!! The warp 4-2 works perfectly!! No problems whats so ever unit I blew up the diff, but thats another story. Sensory Overload

Well with the quark, you can use up to a 5 cell li-po, and that will contribute to insane speed
