I have an FMA voltage cutoff somewhere around here, but I remember encountering an issue where there was little or no delay in cutting off power to the motors when the voltage dropped when going full throttle from a stop. I remember talking with an extremely intelligent and helpful dude at FMA about the problem, and he said I could send it back to have it programmed with a delay (like they use in the ones made for cars/trucks that come with the 1:10 battery packs.)

Being I can't find one (or the contact info I put on this site, for that matter), I'm looking at another voltage cutoff because I want to keep my MLST on brushed power. I just like it. :P

I've run across this the only other alternative? This one seems to be designed to work with cars/trucks, but it doesn't appear to have cutoff at all. Just a "Loud, Obnoxious Alarm" that sounds when it's time for a charge. I would be willing to use it, but piezo buzzers get on my nerves! At least it would give me the option of driving the truck back to myself rather than having to run after it. This is especially important when playing in the street :D

Anyway. Anyone with some info, pass it along.

Hey Pimp,

Here is link to one that will "pulse" the motor when voltage drops. No audible alarm. So I am guessing your motor will start jerking to give you an indication of low voltage.

I have not used it yet - but am looking for a LVD or LVC myslef.

I have one thats just a light. No cutoff, just red LED that turns on. I love it. Had it for 3 years now. Don't recal who makes it but I figured I would tell ya anyway lol
