Would these Atomic screws and collars (http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=144_653_702&products_id=13575) work with the 3r alloy knuckles? I lost a screw and collar because I didnt lock the screw down enough and don't want to have to buy new knuckles just for the screws

That's the setup I'm using... Atomic screws and collars with 3Racing knuckles. Works great and helps take out some of the slop. I'm also using the 3Racing C-Hubs as well. Great combo....!!! I ordered my parts from TinyRC.com. Faster shipping than RC Mart - Dinball. Pics are in my gallery.

Thanks a bunch, I've been worrying for a while now that I'd have to spend $15 on new knuckles jsut for the screws. And I too like ordering off tinyrc over rcmart, I go with rcmart only when tinyrc is out of stock or doesn't carry the item

I just realized that in this set two screws are 7mm long and two are 6mm, is that ok? No shimming needed of the longer two?

I think you'll find the longer ones go on the bottom.

The long ones go in the bottom, and if any of them are too long, it's dremel time. I actually turned my front drives down a bit so I could get full thread with a tiny bit through on the inside of the knuckle, then cut down some grade 12.9 M3x10 FH screws until they just peek through the inside of the knuckle. A dab of blue loctite on the knuckle holes, run the screws in, and let the whole mess cure for at least 24 hours, and my steering has been 100% problem free since.
