i'm running the small spektrum receiver in mine, doesn't have the telemetry but still works fine without it and has 3 channels and it's smaller than my transponder but a little thicker. i fly airplanes as well and the blubird brand to me is junk, stick with berg

2dialed - do you know what frequency or remote can be used with the Berg Micro Stamp MS4? I saw them on BPP.

bergs sold in the U.S. are gonna be 72 band aircraft, 40 band is not legal in the states and if u have a ham radio license u can try to special order a 50 band but the micro specktrum is pretty small, not as thin as the berg though

the Spektrum is more than what i could afford :(
