I highly doubt that motor will work with the stock ESC. I know that can't work with a MINI LST ESC, and that ones way better than the stock KMI esc.

What do you think?
Should I buy this motor and an better ESC, or should i get a brushless motor and a brushless ESC??

at $42 for a brushed motor you might as well just spend a little more and go brushless.

Hi!

This is a little internal... Go to Small Size at Lilletorget in Oslo, and get the
Mamba BL speedcontrol and the Dynamite C4 brushless - either the 8000Kv or 9200Kv. Itīs all you ever need...and not expensive, considering the performance  (Only: youīll need receiver and servo too ofcourse) I run this with original diffs - only lubricated with plenty of Tamiya Ceramic grease!
The metal plate in the slipper has been replaced with rubber O-rings instead. Set the gear mesh right (a piece of paper between) and off you go - major fun :D I have yet to destroy anything in the driveline with this set up. Only the concrete wall did that :o - remember; the brake distance equals the increased speed.

Have fun! (To be frank, i didnīt have fun untill this setup...the MI handles too well!)
