Hi

Am I correct in thinking that I cannot use the stock servo with a futaba receiver because of this 4th wire?

Thanks.

Correct. You need a new servo.

Ok, so what is I get a Perfex Receiver unit - I'm pretty confident that that will be ok - of does that only accept the 3 wire, as it isn't a combined esc/speed controller?

Sorry, been away from my PC for a day or two.

To clarify, I have ordered off eBay a used Perfex receiver unit (so old it is white). I am wondering if this receiver will, a) not work with the stock H8 servo but b) will work with a new servo which only has 3 wires such as the hitec s85. Although I am only assuming that the Hitec etc, only have 3 wires.

Hope I haven't confused matters more.
