Hello!
H8 original servo has 4 wires... normal servos have only 3 wires (5V, GND, signal) ... do you know how a "4 wire" servo works? A normal servo read a square-wave signal on the signal wire, if the on pulse is 1.5ms long the servo moves to center position, if the on pulse is 1ms the servo moves all right, 2ms all left...
thanks!

easiest way to put it is that a normal servo has the "brain" that controls movement. It simply receives the pulses from the rx along with the power. In this configuration, the servo "brain" is inside the esc unit. You can convert it to 3 wire if needed-mostly for another radio system. It would be kinda worthless because you must buy a new servo to get the circuit board out of.

And is there a way in your opinion to connect a standard servo to that ESC?
thanks

not that I have seen. It may be possible but it is not something I have personally tried. I have however done the previous conversion.
