Hi guys,im planning on using this motor in my ST,running on 3cell lithium,what are your thoughts??????



Mega ACn 16/15/2

Itīs designed especially for direct drive of models with ducted fans with 7-8 or 10 cells NiCd (or NiMh). Use of electromotor MEGA ACn 16/15/2: ducted fans 50 – 75 mm, small and quick model.

The ACn 16/15 sizes are direct replacements for Speed 400 and Speed 480 brushed motors. Armature of this motor is made from hardened steel with Kevlar wrapped magnets. Motorīs fasting is done by: 2 screws M 3. Efficiency is 88 %, max speed: 55 000 revolution/min.

yeah that motor would be great in a zagi. i tried useing a mini ac extreme motor outta my glider but it didn't work with the mamba controller. it will probably take a good high amp controller to get it to run. i think one of the 5 or 6 turn mega motor's would work better though

In you spec list...it says a 35 amp controller. The mamba is a 25 amp, so is the tekin. That leaves the quark 33. Which is possibly marginal. You will need some top of the line lipos too to discharge the higher amperage also. Let us know what you do and how it performs.......
