 Hey guys! I have been upgrading my mini inferno lately, and a guy @ the lhs talked me in to the Golden Horizons 4700kv bl motor. Does anyone else have experience with this motor? I was looking to hook it up to my mamba esc and run it off an 8-cell pack made from gp1100 cells. everything that isn't hard wired will have deans ultra plugs.

is this a good motor for a mini inferno, or did i blow my $$? if it is a good motor for this car, what gearing should i run?

Izzit the one with continuous holding current of 10-18A and burst at 25A, with a 2.3mm shaft?

Sounds ok. Try a 12T pinion?? Stock halfeight pinions are 2.3mm too.

Keep things cooool...

it will not fit the stock halfeight chassis. It is a long-can brushless that would have to be mounted inverted on your chassis.
