Yes, thats right, I found some perfect fit bodies for the Mini-Inferno, Vulcan and Vendetta (requires flipping rear suspension arms and several bushings). The bodies have a wheelbase of 178mm, and the Mini-Inferno/Vulcan have wheelbases of 177mm, can't get much better than that!

Don't believe me, here's a thread with a few pictures from one18th.com (http://www.one18th.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32834&highlight=nitro)

A nice selection of 8 bodies, pretty much all of them are vehicles that you wouldn't think of using for rallying. But they all look pretty radical with massive fender flares, so it makes up, I know that if I get a Mini-Inferno, I'm picking up all of these bodies. So here's the links:

Hillman Imp (http://www.kamtec.co.uk/products.php?Prod_ID=78&prod_cat=17)
Vauxhaull Nova (http://www.kamtec.co.uk/products.php?Prod_ID=81&prod_cat=17)
Morris Minor (http://www.kamtec.co.uk/products.php?Prod_ID=82&prod_cat=17)
Toyota Starlet (http://www.kamtec.co.uk/products.php?Prod_ID=83&prod_cat=17)
Sunbeam Stilleto (http://www.kamtec.co.uk/products.php?Prod_ID=84&prod_cat=17)
Mini (http://www.kamtec.co.uk/products.php?Prod_ID=85&prod_cat=17)
Peugeot 205 (http://www.kamtec.co.uk/products.php?Prod_ID=86&prod_cat=17)
Escort Cosworth (http://www.kamtec.co.uk/products.php?Prod_ID=87&prod_cat=17)

Just fabricate some bodyposts, get some 10th scale wheels and tires and you got yourself a very nice rally car without the stereotypical Impreza's, 206's and Xsara's.

Right on! I might do up a Peugeot body. Body posts shouldn't be that hard...

I'll probably stick with the proline wheels though. http://bitpimps.lixlink.com/pages/phpForum/images/smiles/icon_melt.gif

Yea, I'm eyeing the Vauxhaul Nova w/HPI 10-spoke wheels (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAWL2&P=0), Sunbeam Stilleto w/HPI Stock Car wheels (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNV38&P=0) and the Escort Cosworth w/HPI 12-Spoke Corsa Wheels (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCPJ3&P=0)

Go with the Cosworth if your not going with the 205. I think it would look sick!

BTW, the Airtronics M8 freaking owns. I was able to slow the throttle speed down so it acts like turbo lag and gives me a little traction control. =)

has anyone tried to put one of these on the mini inferno. I know the vendetta works but its not as wide as the halfeight either...

The Mini Cooper looks to be the narrowest body, or they just look different but have same dimensions.

It's only 13mm wider than the Vendetta, I don't see why it shouldn't cause any problems. You could always trim the body a bit, just bit for the wheelbase and a bit for travel, or you could limit wheeltravel too.

I'm stuck, whether wait and save for a Nitro Mini-Infernos if it's released (bigger engine than Vulcan) or just go for the electric versions. I know I'll pick up the electric ones eventually, just not sure whether I should go for them before the Nitro or after. Always wanted a nitro....
