Hi guys,

which one should I choose for my JR xR3i?

Hitec HFS03MM (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6000551078&refid=store)
or
GWS R6N II (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6000953841&refid=store)

Is anyone using either receivers with a JR radio?

I just ordered a Quark 33A ESC and it says it has ABS braking.

Can I use this facility with just any rx/tx combo or do I have to have a radio and receiver set that also has ABS like the Futaba Mega Tech 2PL??

Also, will using FM instead of AM reduce EM interference from hi-power wire lines??

Thanks,
CR

i believe the esc will pulse the brake signal.....giving you abs so it will work with any tx/rx. The Futaba pulses the signal to the rx making it work with all escs (quality of abs is dependent on esc)

Yeah I don't like the open prongs either.. I decided to get the GWS anyway just because it's a little smaller than the Hitec, and a lot smaller than my stock JR rx. I'll think of something to cover them up from each other and anything conductive.

I hope it works well with my JR. Thanks guys.
