I currently have a hitec HS-55 servo but I can get a good deal on a Hitec HS-81MG servo. Just curious if this is a worthy upgrade, as my servo seems to perform ok, but I have never driven an 81MG but have heard good things. what are the benefits to this servo (quicker, tighter turning radius etc???) Also will this be a direct replacement or will mods have to be made for it to fit?
Thanks

your turning radius shouldnt change but that servo has more torque than the 55 and also has the metal drive train. ive used that servo before in a m18 but i had problems with the (mg) metal gear version centering. the hs81 was much better and never broke because it was on a servo saver. if you plan on running without a servo saver than you have no choice but to use the hs81mg
