Okay... this may make you laugh...

For the same H8, which (14 vs 16) makes your H8 runs faster?

To my understanding, 16 gives better acceleration and more power (torque?) for uphill but consume more electric?

14 is faster in top speed and consume less electric? Correct?

the 16t will have the higher speed, but less torque, meaning it'll take longer to reach that speed...the 14t will give more torque, acceleraing it to its top speed quicker

Thanks, you have just confirmed my concept was wrong. :p

So 14t or even 12t is more suitable for running on rough dirt road.

If you gonna drive on dirt, youll have the 12 pinion! :)

I agree... 12 is ok for dirt!

...GREAT speed runs with the 16...but yes the 12 for when you are in the tricky stuff and are stopping and starting...The boys at my LHS have the 12 on for indoor demos round the shop floor and for jumping...But you can let your hair down and strech your legs with the 16

I love the car with the 16t pinion! Now it dosent only sound fast, it is actualy fast!! :) But i hope it will be alot faster with 9.6Volt... ;)
