the long can has a 2.3mm shaft, so you will have to hunt different pinions. Also, there is a bug with the latest versions of the mamba ESC firmware which allows this motor to burn up the ESC. I'm not sure if Tekin or other ESCs are affected, but the mamba ESC is a no go.

It won't fit in the H8 with a stock chassis anyway.

Yeah, it's probably a mamba ESC issue.

Who runs stock? I guess me. I tore up the diff in like 1 hour of runtime. haha

Pimpsmurf, this is just the long can motor from Hyperion right? Troy and you don't have issues with the Mamba 25 and the YC-22s.

That is right. Just the long can hyperion, and Troy said something about the long warp motors. I forget. I believe it is a mamba ESC-only bug, but don't blame me! =)

I love my short hyperion. It is awsome. Got an Aon coming to see what is up with that sucker. haha

Matt, new firmware? yeah. much newer, but I hope you are auto updating the software, which includes and prompts for new firmware.

m00sE,
compared to my Scion xA, your civic is a full sized.

hehe, true. Those things are tiny. My civic is lowered too so its a pain to find in a parking lot. you should have bought the XB/toyota BB. Those things are spacey on the inside

haha, just slap a tamiya sticker on it and you could pull of an easy fake of an RC car!
