View Full Version : ok im sold, what mamba to get... 6800, 8000 or whatever

i seen a mini lst run today with a mamba setup, the guy didnt know or remember at the time which he bought, bu that sucker was super quick, what should i be looking for in the brushless setup. my lhs has a mamba setup but i dont know which one, will find out when they open after holidays. what setup shall i get, and whats the best place to get it, thanks

is it plenty power and the others too much power. im not trying t sound stupid by i am new to it and if i am going brushless i want to get something i wont have to upgrade in a couple days cause i want more. thanks for your help

hes right. i run the 5400 and love it, just make shure to get a fan or a heatsint that covers the whole thing. or you can run the AON 4900.

im seriously thinking of the hyperion 6000 as well. found it for a great price. i can hardly wait. wo0t

Hyperion is sweet compared to a 6800, waiting on 5400 test results. :cool:

lol i quoted myself.... but as i said here^ i love my 5400. i just had some track time w/ an 8th scale and he only pulled me on the strait but i smoked him on the turns and small straits. it was great.

i ordered up the hyperion 6000 model. should be nice, cant wait to get it.
